  • UAC has 4 levels, and you should, at most times have it at its highest level of security
• Windows Defender Firewall
  • You can turn on or off Windows Firewall here
  • You can also change the inbound and outbound rules
• System
  • The most relevant setting that pertains to cybersecurity is remote access
  • Remote access is very important to check whether it is on or off
    • Hackers can turn on remote access and get into your computer from somewhere else
    • If you are in a situation where you do not need your computer remotely, it is best practice to disable it
• Programs
  • You can delete your programs here
  • You can also enable or disable Windows features
• User accounts
  • Change account type
    • This tool is very useful if you want to disable an account or change a user account’s status.
    • This is great for managing users from one place
  • Remove user accounts
    • You can remove user accounts here
