The technological advancement for flight. Yes, you heard it correctly, the power of drones is finally taking off. With over five million units of drones worldwide, recorded in 2020, this new technology has clearly set a new perspective of how technology is moving, and how it will be moving in the near future. Currently, with the issue of war at hand, the idea of drones and their usage and involvement in the war has increased exponentially, causing them to be utilized in such a harmful and negative way, though the technological advancement created through drones is so revolutionary that it must be discussed, and should not be overlooked. Before jumping into the complications of war, it is important to discuss the background where it came from, and how it has been revolutionized to the point where the advancement keeps getting better. To begin, what is a drone? We all know the basic understanding of it, but without the official key term, we are unable to do further research and analysis. The common and simplified definition is a vehicle without any human pilot, crew, or passenger on board. Although they are not physically on board, it does not mean that they are still not in control. In our generation, we constantly see the usage of drones being for commercial usage, whether it is one flying over your head when you are at the beach, or you controlling it yourself at our local parks. Drones are beginning to be seen everywhere, and it is without a doubt that the way that it is commercialized is perfect, because now these days everybody is able to use these miniature airplanes locally. However, there are some risks, and if we look more closely we are able to see a negative in the usage of these drones, starting with the current crisis that is occurring. Yes, that is right, in any war, the usage of drones is quite high, and I will be discussing that shortly. A long time back, in various wars, people used to experiment with drones, because it was a technology that could be weaponized to the point where it can be quite descriptive, and unavoidable. Once the idea of drones was invented, many people began to experiment with it, increasing the technology and making it even more advanced. With this being said, the features that were originally equipped were soon changed and enhanced. However, even though the usage of drones is quite high now, the overall idea of it is not that bad, and even though I have been pointing out a variety of negatives, it goes without saying that there are many positives that are correspondent to it. 

The idea of these drones taking over the technological market is not surprising at all, not even the slightest, It is said that drones have completely revolutionized the market, and that is sole because of the way technology has been expanding over these last couple decades. There are over twenty-one companies using the drone technology I speak of, and it is getting to the point where it is revolutionizing quite nicely. For example, various delivery companies will utilize the idea of drones to assist in the delivery process. Now, what does this do for the company? Well, drones are robotic, so the chances of late delivery are quite slim. They do not require gas, just simply charging it, which leads to my next point: it assists in keeping the economy intact. The unnecessary payments for gas and oil are diminished, which is even more resourceful in times like these. Currently, the oil prices have been going up due to the ongoing war, and drones also play a large role in that, but I will be discussing that later. One of the biggest points is that it is quite cost-friendly, which is quite nice in many scenarios. Other industries, such as agriculture, are also known as strong victims that have fallen under the usage of drones. The enhancement the drones have done to their industry has been quite marvelous to watch, as they completely change the way technology is used in those fields. As drones are considered the latest technology, they are used in countless companies and industries, but one of the big ones is the efforts of war. As previously mentioned, these drones are being put towards war efforts, which ultimately causes the drones to be weaponized Although it is not considered a bad thing, their efforts can ultimately cause a ripple effect all throughout the world, much like the efforts that are going on right now in Ukraine and Russia. If you recall, they are also sending in countless drones and using them to take advantage of one another. Though their usage is quite scary in this scenario, it is important to note how advanced the technology is getting, and how beneficial it will be in the future. It is exciting to know which way technology will be headed, and in what direction it will take.
